Fun fact: As you know, the name is ”PowerPoint” (originally ”Presenter”, but it was trademarked). After a few name suggestions, the software was supposed to be named ”Power point” with lowercase ”p” for point and a space in-between, but that wasn’t allowed for MacOS application names so he concatenated it. Also, the software was developed by Forethought, Inc. Microsoft acquired it in 1987.
